Priorities for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences are:
- Complete the first phase of the renovations to the Biological Science and Chemistry Building that modernized roughly 75,000 square feet of lab space.
- Contribute to the Communications Studies’ technology upgrade in its radio labs and TV studio, which will give students hands-on experience with industry-grade equipment so they’re prepared for the competitive job market.
- Recruit and retain top-notch faculty to provide premier education to our students.
- Provide crucial scholarship support to the 85 percent of School of Humanities and Social Sciences students who receive some form of financial aid.
- Cover the cost of tuition and textbooks for students pursuing a liberal arts degree.
