The Roy J. Rinehart Memorial Foundation provides financial resources to support the UMKC School of Dentistry scholarships, fellowships, professorships, professional development, research and projects that advance oral health.
Priorities for the School of Dentistry include:
- Fund the 110 patient simulators for the pre-clinic lab, which give dentistry students life-like experiences before they even enter the clinic.
- Fund equipment updates as technology is always changing in the dental field.
- Fund almost 300 scholarships for the 80 percent of dental students who rely on financial aid.
- Cover the costs of the Dental Licensing Board Exams for graduating students.
