The UMKC Foundation has established a memorial fund to recognize and honor the life of Chancellor Mauli Agrawal’s mother, who was grateful for the opportunity to engage with the many generous friends and alumni of the university and cheer on our students. The fund established in her name will support students.
Dr. Raj Bala Agrawal obtained a Ph.D. in psychology in the 1950s when few women in India even went to college, and went on to teach at a university. Later she owned and operated some small engineering manufacturing companies and also an elementary school. For the past 14 years of her life, she lived with Chancellor Agrawal and his wife, Sue.
