Scholarship and Determination Lead to Success

Ka Baw Say immigrated to the United States with his older brother and sister when he was 19 years old.  The Thomas and Theresa Sullivan Scholarship he received in 2018 enabled him to improve his education and his life.

UM Board and System officials announce plans for alternative funding for UMKC Conservatory

The University of Missouri Board of Curators and System officials announced June 28 that they will develop plans for an alternative funding match for the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Downtown Campus for the Arts (Conservatory) rather than seek funding from the state under the 50-50 matching program for capital projects.
