Priorities for the UMKC Conservatory include:
- Provide financial support to more than 75 percent of Conservatory students studying to become musicians, dancers, teachers and music therapists.
- Recruit and retain top talent by offering competitive packages to prospective students from across the country and around the world.
- Help provide state-of-the-art rehearsal and performance space for Conservatory students.
- Fund student participation in competitions and performances, such as Dance Division’s trip to the American College Dance Association Regional Festival in Champaign-Urbana, IL.
- Bring internationally known artists to campus to work with students, providing hands-on guidance and networking opportunities.
